3rd and 4th Class League Presentations

All of our 3rd and 4th Class boys gathered in the hall yesterday (May 3rd) for the presentation of medals to the winners and runners-up of our internal school leagues. These leagues promote participation and are fully inclusive, and give all of our boys the opportunity to experience being part of a team. It was lovely to acknowledge the achievements and efforts of all the boys over the past number of months. We were also delighted to present individual awards for player of the tournament, ‘man of the final’ and most improved, in both 3rd and 4th Class. Well done to all, and a huge thank you to all the teachers involved.

Under 10 & Under 13 Football 2018

Our Under 10 and Under 13 footballers have been training hard for the past number of weeks. Both teams are competing in Division 1 of the Cumann na mBunscoil competitions.

Our Under 10 men have had a great start to their campaign, beating both Maynooth and Scoil ui Riada comprehensively. They play Scoil na Mainistreach of Celbridge (May 3rd) this Thursday at home to see who will top the group and progress to the semi-finals as group winners.

Our Under 13s begin their campaign this Tuesday at home to Maynooth. Best of luck to both teams.

Under 11 Football 2017

Our Under 11 football campaign took place between September and November this year. There was great interest in being involved and we had a panel of 34 players between our ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams.

Our ‘A’ team had a great run to the semi-finals of the competition, with wins over Maynooth, Sallins and Celbridge, before losing out to a very strong Ballymany team by a point in the semi-final.

Our ‘B’ team won their competition, beating Maynooth in the final in Ballymany in early November. We are already lookimg forward to our internal school leagues and the U10 and U13 Cumann na mBunscoil competitions after Christmas.
